I've tried Japanese/ Asian snacks mid 2012 but ever since I tried sushi for the first time on December 12, 2012 I've been obsessed. Ok not as obsessed as my new Bento/ Asian snack obsession.
I've been watching a lot of Daiso hauls/ Bento videos on YouTube recently. Daiso is a Japanese dollar store ($1.50) and Bentos as I can describe it is a snack type lunch put together for a meal. Example egg, sausage/wieners, carrots, rice etc.. Just a mix and match of snack time foods.
I've decided to buy a few things to try it out but unfortunately don't live close to a store that sells these items so with the help of eBay I bought 2 bento boxes and molds. Egg molds and rice molds. Should be fun to put together and eat of course all the while being cute.
I thought this would be a good thing to try and it will help me eat healthier of course. My main idea.. Would be awesome to send my kids to school one day with these awesome lunches.. Of course I do t have kids yet but my niece and nephew sure would love it! :)
